4. Can my son/daughter really do all this while maintaining their responsibilities at school?
We understand that as a college student, their #1 responsibility is school. College Pro is a system that has been designed for college students while they are in school. The College Pro spring time commitment is equivalent to being involved in a Division 1 or varsity sports team, being an active member of student politics or having a significant part-time job. That is why we look for people who can handle it.
Our training sessions take place on weekends, and after the training sessions, the majority of the work they do in the spring semester is doing estimates on weekends. The great thing about being a College Pro franchisee is that they set their own schedule (outside of the training sessions.) If they don’t want to do estimates on a weekend because they have a school function, or a big test on Monday, then they don’t have to do estimates! It’s their choice, and their schedule.
We often hear from our franchisees that they find that they actually get better grades when they are College Pro franchisees for two main reasons. We review scheduling and priority management with our franchisees, and we find our best franchisees not only enjoy being busy, but perform better. Second, because many of the franchisees go back home on the weekends to do estimates, they often find themselves studying or doing homework in the evenings on the weekends - something they might not do on a college campus on a Saturday night!
