What I liked most was that each day was different. Each day brought new challenges and new successes. It was such a learning experience! Looking back, my business ran relatively smoothly.

I would say that the best part of the summer would have to be the amount of life experiences I gained in four months. I feel as if I have learned more than I could have ever learned in a classroom, about everything from financial management, people skills, selling skills to organizational, problem solving and management.

Another benefit that I have extracted from this summer is the life connections that I have made. I have met many new people and in a business environment networking is a key to success. Not to mention how wonderful all this experience looks on your resume. Furthermore, once you run your own business, life just seems to be much easier and run much smoother. I have found that once you have these skills you can apply them to any life situation and this helps you make the right decisions.

The experiences that I had this summer are difficult to put into words, but it is definitely something that I would have never have been able to get anywhere else. I know my decision to become a franchise manager will affect my life in the future. It was a summer that will not be soon forgotten.
